About Me

Kul Wicasa Lakota - a citizen of the Kul Wicasa Oyate, also known as the Lower Brule Sioux Tribe in South Dakota. My name is Jordan Marie Brings Three White Horses Whetstone - professional runner/athlete advocate, Project Manager, DEI consultant, filmmaker, and founder of Rising Hearts. I’m a passionate advocate for my Indigenous relatives and communities - fighting for justice, diversity, inclusivity, equity, access, safety and visibility, as it intersects across all forms of movements of climate, racial, social, and economic justice.

Mission:
Rising Hearts is an Indigenous led grassroots organization committed to the heart work in elevating Indigenous voices, promoting, and supporting intersectional collaborative efforts across all movements in cultivating community with the goals of racial, social, climate and economic justice. Our primary focuses are to inform, elevate, mobilize, and organize through strategic and targeted advocacy and programming, establishing collaborative partnerships to help create a better, safer future, and environment for all relatives who inhabit this planet - past, present, and future.
